As you progress through my “Forais” (Four-A’s) system, the ultimate goal is to identify YOUR Woobie while embracing the idea of giving it up towards the creation of new and better habits of success. I named my company Prospecting Intelligence for a reason: Prospecting – We’re all looking for new opportunities. Intelligence – The knowledge we gain along the way and our ability to implement new ideas.
Prospecting – We’re all searching for new opportunities for ourselves and the people we care about.
Intelligence – Information pertaining to a subject of interest and the ability to apply that knowledge.
Pi – A mathematical constant pertaining to circles (the ratio of a Circle’s circumference to its diameter.
You might be asking yourself, “how long does it take to create a new habit”? Based on a study conducted by Phillippa Lally, a health psychology researcher at the University of London, it takes on average about two months (66 days to be exact) to create a new habit. This number can vary from person to person depending on personality profile, the difficulty of the new habit they’re trying to implement, and many other contributing factors. The bottom line is do not get discouraged, you’re not going to see change overnight, YOU CAN DO THIS! The hardest part in forming new habits is holding yourself accountable. Find an accountability partner. Accountability partners and teams can choose to hold each other accountable to a higher standard.
I’ve seen it happen with my own eyes and I’ve been privileged to play a role in helping sales professionals accomplish this feat. My favorite habit to help create is the habit of asking for referrals 100% of the time from 100% of the people you know. Use my simple Woobie concept and discover how you can accomplish such change in your life.
